We first noticed ECs at shows because they were sometimes in the same ring as Irish Water Spaniels, Grace's first breed from years ago. It seemed like a good downsizing dog, with a lot of characteristics that we liked about IWS and other larger sporting dogs. 

That's the one!
We saw Tuscany's Triple Sec (Olivia)  at a show in 2003.  She had everything we wanted in a cocker: elegance, and beautiful expression and movement. We spoke to her owner and breeder at ringside, and got pick bitch from Olivia's first litter, the next year.

Our goals in breeding are good health, temperament, soundness and aesthetics conforming to the standard.  T had a litter in 2006, and became a champion in 2009.
